I personally feed my yorkies Nutri Source. The reason I am using it is that it is of the highest quality, easily digestible, made from the finest ingredients. You can order it on amazon.com or you can go to the first page of my website for links to other places to purchase it.For puppies, I use the small/medium breed puppy food and for adults I use the Grain free chicken/pea formula.

Some other recommended foods for your yorkie are the following:
Solid Gold, Wellness, Chicken Soup for the doglovers Soul, Natural Balance, Innova, Karma, Dick Van Patten Natural Balance
The ingredients in your dog's food are so important and can extend the life of your dog. Please spend the extra money now on a good food, and save yourself from too many vet bills later.
There are many dog foods out there. As far as I am concerned, none of the dog foods sold in the grocery store even come close to being a good quality. Also, there is a dog food that is sold by many vets that is also inferior. Most of the dog foods carried by your local petstores are not good either. Nutro Natural Choice and Dick Van Patten Natural Balance are of decent quality and are carried by your local petstores. Please read the ingredients in your pets food. Bad ingredients are: Corn, by products, fillers If you see any of this in your dog food, it is just a cheap filler and has no place in your dog food. You can find quality dog foods at many pet specialty places such as a boarding kennel or a health food store. Also, look for many of them online. I buy my Fint River Ranch online and it is delivered right to my door. http://www.frrco.com/122707
SNACKS AND TREATS: We all love treats and we like to feel we are giving our poochies something special, so we buy them snacks. Your dog doesn't always know the difference between a hot dog and a healthy snack. Please make your snacks healthy. Your dog will not only love them, but will be healthier in the long run. If you cannot feel your dog's ribs, he is too fat. Yorkies typically love snacks like: shredded carrots, canned unsalted green beans, tiny pieces of apples, crushed ice, plain yogurt. Most dogs do not do well with dairy products. Please avoid dairy products in your yorkies. Also, very bad and very dangerous: CHOCOLATE is a BIG NO NO. Also bad are grapes and onions. Please do not give these to your pet. NEVER GIVE your pet tylenol. It could KILL your baby.
If your puppy is not feeling well, some things that might be of help are: Pepto Bismol, PLAIN unflavored unsweetened yogurt, baby food in chicken flavor, rice cereal, clear type pedialyte. Nutrical should always be kept on hand for your yorkie. If he or she is not feeling well and not eating, it is wise to give them some twice a day. Please consult your vet if your puppy or adult yorkie is sick.
